Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCIs) are evolving from pure research topic to marketable products. However their poor accuracy and the subsequent lack of usability, due to the difficulty in brain signal interpretation, are slowing down this process.

In our long experience in developing BCI-based products we found the solution to this problem: Synchronization with other sensors and devices commonly used everyday by anyone.

The integration of Brain Signals with other data taken from Wearables or Smartphones gives more informations that can be used to make more accurate decisions and expand human’s control over everyday life systems and devices, creating an actual smart world.

A stream of data coming from a single sensor gives only a partial information about what is being measured. This is why having more data coming from different sensors is fundamental to extract more accurate informations: it is like watching something from different points of view at the same time.

This concept can be summarized with Data Synchronization: having all data gathered in the same place temporarily aligned.

The synchronization of all signals coming from different sensors will make it possible to extract, with a great accuracy, a lot of informations about people’s habits, movements and activities, that can be collected and analyzed.

Thanks to this analysis the system automatically learns preferences, monitors conditions and gives user feedback, changes his environment or gives commands to a specific device or system as needed.
